Began playing trombone in 7th grade and made Oklahoma All-State Band as a senior. Studied at Oklahoma Baptist University and at UCO with Dr. Kent Kidwell. I also studied with Dr. Jim Hansford at OBU. I have taught for over twenty years and have produced several outstanding musicians who have achieved a great deal of success.
I continue to study and train on the trombone because I feel that if I am learning then my students will learn better as well. |
